SUMMARY
This novel tells about a man named
Chirag who thinks he never get loves from his parents and friends. However,
actually he does not know what the meaning of love itself is. From Senior High
School until in University he thinks he never get the word “LOVE” by his
parents. His father always goes to the other city for his businesses and his
mother always does the world tour. So, he is always alone in his home. He
thinks there is no people love him in this world.
When he was in Senior High School, he
had a best friend named Mayank. Chirag regarded Mayank as his brother. They
were always together. They participated in the school football tournament. They
represented their school. In that tournament, their team won. There were very
happy. Nevertheless, after the final exam of Senior High School, Mayank became
different. He kept away from Chirag.
Evidently, it was because Mayank’ score was lower than Chirag so that he was
jealous to Chirag. Then, he won’t to make friendship with Chirag. Chirag felt
very disappointed to Mayang. Chirag thought Mayank should not to avoid him just
because Mayank got lower score from him. He might not break the good
relationship between them because of it only. Because of this, Chirag felt he
would be alone again after his parents rarely gathered together and now he
would lose his friend. He was very sad.
After graduated from High School, he
went to the University named AIT (Alpha Institute of Technology). When he went
to register his name in that collage, he saw other students were accompanied by
their parents. He was very jealous actually because he was just accompanied by
a driver although his driver just waited in the car. But, he did not care about
it because it always happened to him from High School. In the dorm of college, Chirag had two
roommates, Arjun and Deepak. They were very kind friends for Chirag. Chirag
felt happy when he was in that dorm. He was not alone. But, when he came to his
house for holiday of the end of semester, he was very lonely. His parents were
not at home. They were in other country. So, he called his home as a graveyard.
In that university, Chirag was falling in love with Dhirsty so much. He won’t
to lose her. But, Arjun also loved Dhirsty and vice versa. Arjun wanted to
propose Dhirsty. However, before Arjun proposed Dhirsty, he thought he had to propose
first. The day before he wanted to propose Dhirsty, for the first time his
father called Chirag by phone. His father said that his mother had passed away.
He felt very sad. He forgot about proposing Dhirsty. He directly went to his
house to see his mother. In there, he knew that his mother went to abroad just
for a walk around the world before she died. She wanted to be accompanied by
his husband without telling his beloved son because she did not want to make
her son become sad because of her illness. She got a cancer. From that, he knew
what LOVE is exactly. Obviously, all the time he never lost loves from his
parents, especially his mother’s love. His parents’ love always accompanied him
everywhere and every time.
After two months in his house, Chirag
went back to the college. He was very happy because he was accompanied by his
father for the first time. Arrived at collage, Deepak told him that Arjun had
proposed Dhirsty. Then, he met Dhirsty and told that she was very lucky to life
with Arjun because Arjun is a good person. She would be happy with Arjun.
Although he loved Dhirsty very much, but he did not want to lose his best
friend (Arjun) again after he lost Mayank. So, he sacrificed his heart to
Dhirsty for maintaining his friendship with Arjun and also Deepak. Moreover, he
thought he was never alone because his parents’ loves were always with him
especially his mother’s so that he never felt lonely.
In short, after he graduated from
university, he worked in his father’s company. After a long time he worked, his
health was fall so that he often did check up to the doctor. Evidently, he got
blood cancer. It was because he often smoked. He thought that cigarette is his
true love because it never leaves him until he dies. So, he often used it.
One day, a milkman knocked the room no.
13 in an apartment but the door was not opened. So, he called policemen. Then,
policemen battered down the door. What was happened? They found a male dead
body that was floating in the bath tub, with no clothes on the upper part and a
very costly jeans covering lower part, with blood flowing from nose, mouth a cigarette bud in his hand, like he had grasped
that bud very tightly before death. Obviously, he was CHIRAG.
